Routine Eye Exam

Annual eye exams are the first line of defense to prevent and detect common eye issues in children and adults. Dr. Bingham equips his office with the most current exam equipment to make each experience efficient and comfortable. Read: No puff of air needed to measure eye pressure!

Diabetic Eye Care

Diabetic Retinopathy starts with damaged blood vessels in the eye and can lead to blindness if left unmanaged. Preserve your vision by seeing an eye doctor as soon as you are diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. Follow up annually to prevent and treat vision loss associated with retinopathy.

Frames and Lenses

Each eye exam will culminate with an eyeglasses prescription if needed. Following your appointment, you are invited to meet with our optician, Jessica Johnson-Mawhiney for well-fitted glasses. She’ll have you looking and seeing your best.

Order Contact Lenses

If you are interested in wearing contact lenses as a way to correct imperfect vision, a contact fitting will be added to your eye exam. This extra service will determine the right kind of lens for your eye shape, vision, and lifestyle. Our optician will help you get them ordered with your insurance or an in-house payment plan.

Lasik Pre-op/Post-op

Lasik is a wonderful vision-correcting surgery that provides improved sight without the need for eyeglasses or contact lenses. Dr. Bingham can determine if you are a good candidate, recommend a trusted ophthalmologist to perform the procedure, and provide follow-up services.

Prevent and Treat Ocular Disease

Your routine eye exam may uncover some not-so-routine challenges to your eye health. Dr. Bingham is well-equipped to assess and treat these conditions or refer you to a trusted ophthalmologist and provide postoperative treatment.

Immediate Care for Eye Infections

Some people don’t realize they can see an optometrist for an eye infection, but eye doctors know the eyes better than anyone. Come in for a same-day appointment to heal your eye infection before it causes significant damage.

Mild Case Eye Trauma

Eye irritation, scratches, and light impact damage can often be treated on a same-day or walk-in appointment. If you have a major eye trauma call 911 or head straight to the ER.

Abrupt Vision Changes

Finding Glaucoma

Eye pressure is often painless and can go undetected until it is a big problem. Regular eye exams are key in detecting and stopping Glaucoma’s progression. Dr. Bingham will prescribe a treatment plan to preserve your ocular health.

Blurry Vision from Astigmatism

Blurry vision that is caused by a differently shaped cornea and/or lens than average is Astigmatism. In most cases, clear vision is restored simply by prescribing a pair of corrective lenses. Dr. Bingham will assess and prevent bigger problems from occurring.

Adapting to Presbyopia

In the middle to later years, eyesight can be affected by lessening elasticity in the lens of the eye. Often reading classes prove to be a simple solution, but our experienced optometrist will determine if other solutions need to be explored in more serious situations.
