Founded by optometrist Dr. Blake Bingham, Clear Eye Total Eye Care is a local eye doctor’s office with a mission. Your eyesight is our vision. This means our primary focus is keeping your eyes healthy and your eyesight preserved for your entire life--from childhood through adulthood.

At the heart of our family eye care clinic, we also believe in high-quality, professional, affordable eyecare, which is why we offer our own in-house vision plans to reduce costs for those with no vision insurance.

Dr. Blake Bingham is a native Idahoan who loves practicing optometry in Boise, Idaho. It has been his life-long goal to be an optometrist.

Dr. Bingham grew up in Idaho Falls and later attended Brigham Young University–Idaho, where he met his beautiful wife, Hailey. After obtaining their bachelor’s degrees in Idaho, Blake began his doctorate degree at the Rosenberg School of Optometry. While he and his wife were both completing graduate school, their family grew. They now have three beautiful daughters, Emery, Aveline, and Magnolia.

Dr. Bingham is experienced in many approaches to eye and vision care. He enjoys all aspects of his work, from routine eye exams, to co-managing ocular surgeries, to diagnosing and managing eye diseases like glaucoma, dry macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Bingham loves spending time with his family, backpacking, hiking, camping, playing chess, and spending time exploring the night sky with his telescope.

Jessica started working in optometry seven years ago working as a lab technician and fell in love. She was born with a neurological condition called "Visual Snow Syndrome.” The biggest symptom of this condition makes her world look like bad reception on the TV - millions of tiny dots moving across her vision 24/7. Since she has been working in optical, she has had the opportunity to experiment on herself with different tints to help improve her vision as well as the other symptoms associated with VS.

Jessica's goal as an optician is to help all of our patients see and feel their best.

Outside of work she enjoys reading, cooking, learning, spending time with her husband, and spoiling her six cats!
